HealthCare Chaplaincy CPE and Supervisory Education Opportunities
HealthCare Chaplaincy (HCC), incorporated in 1961, is one of the largest and most influential multifaith, not-for-profit centers for pastoral care, education, research, and consulting in the world. From its operational hub in Manhattan, the Chaplaincy's clinical staff provides professional spiritual care to patients, families, and staff of all faiths in numerous healthcare institutions throughout the greater New York region. HCC’s education programs teach clergy and qualified laypersons of all religious traditions the art and science of pastoral care. The research and consulting services are focused on studying and promoting best practice and quality assurance in pastoral care. Each year HCC enrolls over 100 Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) students of various faith traditions in different healthcare settings in and around New York City. Our CPE programs, accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Care (ACPE), include Level I, Level II and Supervisory Education. For more information about our programs, please call (212) 644-1111 or visit our Web site: www.healthcarechaplaincy.org
